Centre Management Opportunity

A unique chance has emerged for an experienced professional to oversee a high-performing retail asset located in Melbourne's outer south-eastern suburbs.

  • Leading a small team of marketing, operational and administrative staff members
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with tenants and community groups
  • Monitoring the performance of tenants and their leases
  • Managing operational and capital expenditure budgets
  • Generating non-lease revenue streams
  • Ensuring effective debtor management practices
  • Oversight of capital works projects

To succeed in this role, you will require more than 3-5 years of centre management experience in a shopping centre environment and demonstrate a deep understanding of the key fundamentals of retail property management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Oversee a small team of professionals responsible for marketing, operations, and administration
  • Tenant Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with tenants and community groups
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of tenants and their leases
  • Budget Management: Manage operational and capital expenditure budgets
  • Revenue Generation: Drive non-lease income opportunities
  • Debtor Control: Implement effective debtor management practices
  • Capital Works: Oversee capital works projects

Requirements:

More than 3-5 years of centre management experience in a shopping centre environment

Deep understanding of retail property management fundamentals

Strong leadership and communication skills

Ability to drive business growth and improvement
