About the Role

This position is responsible for providing approvals to approved service repairers of passenger, commercial vehicles, and equipment nationally. The role involves managing maintenance costs incurred after the vehicle has been delivered to the customer, ensuring day-to-day queries and operational issues are carried out and resolved within agreed timeframes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Approve suppliers' requests for the maintenance and repair work on managed vehicles and equipment.
  2. Ensure all services carried out are within the manufacturers' service requirements.
  3. Ensure defective vehicle and equipment repairs are carried out in accordance with the current CoR and Health and Safety processes.
  4. Actively work with external suppliers to provide support and improve their EVO portal usage.
  5. Assist customers with general maintenance enquiries.

Requirements

Qualified Diesel Mechanic

Effective communicator both verbally and in writing, demonstrating good listening and probing skills

Critically analyze information and solve problems, demonstrating resourcefulness, perseverance, and accountability

Please note, a requirement of this role is that you MUST be a licensed heavy vehicle mechanic.
