Job Title: Senior Duty Engineer

As a Senior Duty Engineer at Accor Hotels, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's facilities and equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the Chief Engineer/Assistant Chief Engineer in the daily operation of the department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure standard maintenance for the hotel's different equipment, including plumbing, electrical appliances, locks, heating, air conditioning, bathroom fixtures, and all related equipment is in good working condition.
  • Perform routine checks and log data of all facilities, following up on faults and repair works as required.
  • Source quotations for spare parts and repair work.
  • Maintain tidiness of the store, workshop, and Engineering office, and check on the tools' inventory.
  • Maintain fire fighting facilities and equipment in compliance with Fire Safety regulations.
  • Schedule preventive and corrective maintenance, keeping records for proper control and efficiency.
  • Perform small renovation jobs such as painting, carpeting, furnishings, etc.
  • Keep a daily log that inventories the work done in the hotels.
  • Stay up to date on safety-related administrative documents.
  • Ensure life and property safety.
  • Ensure personal safety and the safety of others during interventions, including those of external service providers.
  • Assist colleagues with hotel maintenance as needed.
  • Strive to implement the Accor Vision and demonstrate active use of the Accor Values.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with experience in hotel, facilities, or construction maintenance.
  • ITE/Nitec Certificate in Building Facilities Maintenance, Electrical/Electronics, and Air Conditioning servicing.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • A positive and helpful attitude towards work and colleagues.
  • Good communication skills.
  • The ability to deal effectively with mechanics.
