About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Court Practice Manager to join our team at the Department of Justice and Community Safety. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of court services across Mildura and Swan Hill locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage court order management and court services teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to the community.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve court operations and services, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with community partners, including local police and courts, to develop and maintain effective partnerships.
  • Provide direct oversight of court services teams, including court order management, court services, and community partnerships.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the effective delivery of court services.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in court management, including case management and risk minimization.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and manage high-performing teams.
  • Strong operational skills, with the ability to monitor financial performance, resource, and staffing requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • A relevant qualification in social work, human services, or criminal justice discipline, with work experience in a similar field.
