Key Responsibilities

The Executive VFX Producer oversees project management, mentoring producers, and guiding junior staff.

Responsibilities include working with the new business team to secure projects, overseeing newly awarded projects, and collaborating with the Head of Production to assign shows to experienced producers.

Additionally, the Executive VFX Producer will oversee the creative and financial progress of shows, reporting findings to HOP. They will also run weekly meetings with experienced producers to ensure production is running smoothly and offer guidance when needed.

Other key responsibilities include maintaining client relationships, acting as a point of escalation for any issues on shows, and working closely with production accounts to track the financial health of projects.

The ideal candidate will have extensive high-end feature film VFX Producer experience, proven project management skills, including scheduling and budgeting, and experience in bidding and winning work.

They will also have the ability to oversee multiple VFX shows, proven leadership experience, and experience managing production teams under high levels of pressure and during fast-paced show delivery times.

The Executive VFX Producer will be passionate about film, have impeccable attention to detail, and be capable of motivating and leading a large team with enthusiasm and clarity.

They will also be calm under pressure, capable of delivering to short deadlines, analytical, logical, and methodical in their approach, organized, proactive, and a self-starter, and have a positive can-do attitude.
