Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Visual Effects Editor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with experience in VFX feature film or episodic projects.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience as a VFX Editor in a production and VFX facility environment, with expertise in supporting VFX feature film or episodic projects, ShotGrid and VFX pipeline knowledge.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting up and completing all editorial work as requested from a Supervisor, Lead Editor or Production on feature or episodic projects.
  • Maintaining communication with the client editorial team and ensuring timely delivery of editorial timelines and databases with the latest client changes and internal versions from multiple artist disciplines.
  • Output of editorial sequence data for individual shot frame range, visual and audio reference.
  • Show wrap-up including final reel, layoff of movie files and consolidating media.

Requirements:

  • Experience in supporting VFX feature film or episodic projects, with ShotGrid and VFX pipeline knowledge.
  • 3 or more years of experience, ideally with Avid Media Composer.
  • A self-starter who is able to work independently and maintain positive relationships within the global teams.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Film/Digital Media Production or a related degree, or relevant industry experience.
