Senior Academic Coordinator Opportunity

This is a senior role within the School of Arts and Humanities, seeking an experienced academic to coordinate its participation in the Curriculum Transformation Program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate school-wide engagement with Curriculum Transformation, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Develop and enhance academics' capabilities for successful delivery of programmatic learning, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Liaise closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the success of Curriculum Transformation, driving positive change and growth.
  • Support the Associate Dean, Teaching and Learning, in oversight of curriculum, student success, and related matters.
Requirements:
  • PhD in a relevant discipline, demonstrating expertise and depth of knowledge.
  • Able to lead successful change through peer engagement, designing and delivering effective courses and units of study.
  • Design and deliver curricula informed by contemporary scholarship of learning and teaching, promoting best practices.
  • Enable academics across disciplines to develop effective educational innovations, enhancing the student experience.
  • Manage and oversee curriculum change within a university environment, ensuring seamless implementation.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support effective curriculum development and management, driving institutional success.
  • Rapidly respond to changes in technologies influencing curriculum and pedagogy, staying ahead of the curve.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to teach within one or more of the School's core disciplines, adding value and depth.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching and curriculum development, showcasing expertise and passion.
