Senior Finance Manager Role

This is a challenging leadership position that requires strong strategic and communication skills. As the Senior Finance Manager, you will be accountable for overseeing financial reporting requirements and ensuring the completion of organisational objectives.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve business goals and objectives.
  • Manage the development and implementation of financial strategies and plans.
  • Oversee activities in financial analysis and budget management.
  • Develop position papers and provide sound accounting advice to stakeholders on technical financial issues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing best practice data governance in support of financial management.
  • Motivating and mentoring teams, aligning complementary skills and allocating resources to deliver results in accordance with organisational objectives.
  • Assessing and evaluating financial performance, initiatives, projects, policy and procedures, and engaging in activities to achieve local and organisational improvement.

The team is responsible for the full financial reporting function and the financial management of assets through their lifecycle. They are also accountable for policy advice, compliance assurance and conducting quality assurance checks on financial management activities.

As a key member of the finance team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of financial strategies and policies, working closely with senior leaders to drive business growth and success.
