Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing full cycle accounting, including accounts payable, journal entries, monthly accruals and reconciliations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Accurate Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Monthly Rent Roll: Prepare and review the monthly rent roll for accuracy.
  • Tenant Billing: Prepare and process monthly tenant billings.
  • Cash Management: Manage daily cash receipts and actively pursue outstanding balances.
  • Property Management Sub-Ledger: Maintain the property management sub-ledger, including lease and billing information.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and distribute month-end reporting packages.
  • Reconciliations: Prepare complex annual NNN and utility reconciliations and related billings.
  • Cash Analysis: Prepare and process monthly cash analysis and partner distributions.

We require a degree in Accounting and 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in real estate. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent technical aptitude and attention to detail.

A bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required. Candidates must have at least 3-5 years of accounting experience, with a clear understanding of GAAP. Experience with Timberline and Kardin accounting software is a plus.
