Health Safety Specialist

Brunel is seeking an experienced HSE Specialist to join our team in Brisbane.
This role offers the opportunity to drive a strong safety culture, support Safety 2.0 practices, and collaborate with a high-performing team.
About This Role:- Work closely with frontline and management teams driving HSE excellence across a business where everyone is responsible for HSE.
- Coach and mentor supervisors and managers on building a strong HSE culture and accountability for HSE in their areas.
- Provide support to and participate in emergency response arrangements, including the development and maintenance of procedures and training.
- Develop and deliver HSE awareness and workforce engagement programmes as required.
- Focus on the Health aspects of HSE especially mental health promotion among the site.
- NEBOSH or Cert 4 in OHS Certificate or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- Min 5-10 years of working experience related to HSE background.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving skill.
- 12-month contract.
- Monday to Friday schedule with work-life balance.
The successful candidate will be expected to work independently, manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively, and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
