Brunel is seeking a seasoned Health and Safety Specialist to join their team in Brisbane.
This role offers the opportunity to drive a strong safety culture, support risk management practices, and collaborate with a high-performing team.
About This Position:- Work closely with frontline and management teams driving health and safety excellence across the organization where everyone is responsible for health and safety.
- Coach and mentor supervisors and managers on building a strong health and safety culture and accountability for health and safety in their areas.
- Provide support to and participate in emergency response arrangements, including the development and maintenance of procedures and training.
- Develop and deliver health and safety awareness and workforce engagement programs as required.
- Focus on the wellbeing aspects of health and safety especially mental health promotion among employees.
- NEBOSH or Cert 4 in Occupational Health and Safety Certificate or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- Min 5-10 years of working experience related to health and safety background.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- 12-month contract with a leading Oil & Gas company.
- Monday to Friday schedule with work-life balance.
