We are seeking a skilled Health and Safety Specialist to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about creating a safe and healthy work environment. As a Health and Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and providing training and support to employees.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of occupational health and safety principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

About the Role:

  • To develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures that comply with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • To conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and take steps to mitigate them.
  • To provide training and support to employees on health and safety matters.
  • To investigate incidents and near misses and implement corrective actions.
  • To maintain accurate records of health and safety activities and reports.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
  • Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills
