Job Title: Technical Team Leader

The role of a technical team leader is multifaceted and requires an individual with strong leadership skills to provide guidance and support to a team of system administrators.

  • Lead the technical implementation of new infrastructure projects including upgrades and cloud migrations.
  • Manage infrastructure to ensure operational requirements and customer SLAs are met.
  • Embed information security best practices into all product and service offerings.
Responsibilities:
  • Working collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team, undertake high-level responsibilities in a professional manner.
  • Maintain high-performing service and support functions ensuring services are provided in alignment with customer contracts.
  • Monitor, manage and support service delivery by implementing systems, methodologies and procedures to a high standard.
  • Contribute to customer proposals ensuring services and third-party costs are accurately scoped and quoted.
  • Build partnerships and liaise with key stakeholders to determine services, delivery criteria and solutions for requirements that may arise.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent level of experience in a related role.
  • 5 years' demonstrable experience leading technical teams.
  • A strong background in system administration, communications networks, or mobile (M2M) data with a minimum of 10 years' experience.
  • Experience or certification in ITIL Service Management framework.
