Expert Mine Planner

We are seeking a Senior Mining Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects. The successful candidate will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure operational goals are achieved safely and effectively.
The ideal candidate will have experience in mine planning, design, and operating aspects of coal and/or hard rock mines. They should be competent in mining CAD and scheduling software, including Deswik, Vulcan, and SPRY.
Key Responsibilities- Provide short and medium-term design and planning support as required for operating sites.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve operational goals.
- Provide reporting support to sites as required.
- Assist in reserving, scheduling, and model setup for new projects.
- Conduct compliance and reconciliations.
- Coach and mentor junior/graduate engineers.
- Tertiary qualifications in mining, civil engineering, or related disciplines.
- 5+ years' open cut experience.
- Experience in coal and/or hard rock mines, including short and medium-term mine design and planning.
- Competent in mining CAD and scheduling software.
- Strong communication, teamwork skills, and attention to detail.
