About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Behaviour Support Professional to deliver tailored support to individuals with disabilities.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with staff to implement and monitor behaviour support strategies, ensuring seamless delivery of person-centred services.

You will have the opportunity to work within a capacity building model, collaborating with diverse stakeholders and customers to drive positive outcomes.

In addition to delivering behaviour support training, you will be responsible for monitoring and following up on incident reports, ensuring swift action is taken to address any concerns.

Key Requirements:
  • A minimum of three years' experience in developing and implementing behaviour support plans.
  • Proven ability to mentor staff in implementing behaviour support plans.
  • Experience working with individuals, staff, and families using a positive behaviour support approach.
  • Skills development experience, particularly in supporting individuals with disabilities.
  • Familiarity with person-centred approaches and working within a diverse range of customer needs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Typical Duties:
  1. Deliver comprehensive behaviour support services to individuals across various age ranges.
  2. Develop and implement behaviour support plans, monitoring their effectiveness and making adjustments as necessary.
  3. Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to achieve shared goals and outcomes.
  4. Utilize effective time management skills to meet deadlines and service delivery targets.
  5. Respond promptly to incident reporting requirements.
  6. Participate actively in team meetings, supervision, and professional development activities.
  7. Work independently in community settings, providing support to individuals and their networks.
