Compliance Specialist

Job Opportunity:
">Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for regulatory compliance? We are seeking a Compliance Specialist to join our team and assist with the assessment and review of imported food products against Australian and New Zealand laws.
About the Role:
- Conduct thorough reviews of imported food products to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop high-quality artwork and labels for 'Fresh' food areas (Bakery, Deli, Food Court)
- Collaborate closely with internal teams on item reviews, regulatory compliance, and food safety initiatives
- Manage our Food Vendor Assurance Program and communicate effectively with external stakeholders
- Coordinate product testing programs and recall activities as needed
- Support Compliance and Buying teams with incident investigations and training
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Food Science/Technology or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite)
- At least 1 year of experience in regulatory, compliance, or associated area in retail, government, or manufacturing within the food sector
- Understanding of Australian and New Zealand labelling requirements
