Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist. This role requires the ability to provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological.

Your duties will include:

  • Case management and working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;
  • Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes;
  • Conducting assessments across initial, worksite, and vocational assessments to support clients in their return to health, work, and life goals;
  • Providing injury prevention and injury management consultancy services such as group mental health training and employee assistance program services.

You'll be a driven and energetic professional with the qualities below:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, or Occupational Therapy;
  • General or Provisional AHPRA registration or Full ASORC Membership or Full AASW Membership;
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation would be highly regarded;
  • Fabulous communication skills and empathy;
  • Well-developed time management skills and a current QLD Driver's License with comprehensive insurance.
