We are seeking an experienced Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team on the Sunshine Coast. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing and implementing personalized return-to-work plans, collaborating closely with employers, employees, and medical professionals.
- Providing case management support, including caseloads and administrative assistance from qualified team members.
- Applying clinical expertise to drive successful return-to-work outcomes.
- Designing and delivering injury prevention programs for employers and employees, focusing on workplace education and risk reduction strategies.
- Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, and healthcare professionals to facilitate optimal recovery and return-to-work results.
- Operating across various schemes, including workers' compensation, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention initiatives.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
- Full registration as a professional with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).
- Substantial experience working in the Occupational Rehabilitation industry is highly regarded.
- Superb communication skills, including effective stakeholder engagement and relationship-building.
- Empathy, compassion, and kindness when interacting with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- A valid Queensland driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance coverage.
