Construction Site Supervisor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Supervisor to manage a number of new home builds in construction concurrently and lead our busy construction team in Canberra.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocate materials and trades to job sites effectively
  • E nsure timely completion of new homes within set parameters
  • Effectively communicate with trades and management in a professional manner
  • Inspecting completed projects to ensure a high standard of quality
  • Maintaining and updating company systems for optimal performance
  • Negotiating with subcontractors and coordinating onsite works efficiently
  • Identifying and resolving problems throughout the construction process

Role Requirements:

  • At least 2 years experience as a Construction Site Supervisor within the volume home building industry
  • Tertiary qualifications within building and construction are desirable
  • Trade background will be highly advantageous
  • Demonstrated experience within the construction sector with excellent building knowledge
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to build a strong rapport with clients, subcontractors and suppliers
  • Proven track record of problem-solving
  • Team player with excellent IT skills and computer literacy with construction-specific software packages
  • Commitment to WHS principles and practices
