Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our team in Canberra. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining server infrastructure, networks, and system applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Windows and/or Linux server environments, experience managing cloud or hybrid environments (Azure, AWS, etc.), and familiarity with Active Directory, group policy, networking, and patch management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain server infrastructure, networks, and system applications
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols and governance requirements
  • Monitor and troubleshoot performance, availability, and incident response
  • Work closely with project teams and stakeholders to support system deployments and upgrades
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a System Administrator within government, defence, or similarly regulated environments
  • Strong understanding of Windows and/or Linux server environments
  • Experience managing cloud or hybrid environments (Azure, AWS, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, group policy, networking, and patch management
  • Knowledge of Defence security clearance processes (NV1/NV2 preferred)
