Job Title: IT Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled IT professional to join our international team as an IT Infrastructure Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration, provisioning, maintenance and optimization of our IT platform.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in virtualization technologies, network, storage, backup and general IT security practices. Experience with Linux/Windows servers and workstations, systems monitoring & alerting, Kubernetes, hybrid infrastructure and scripting languages such as Ansible, Bash, Go, Python or PowerShell is highly desirable.

The role involves diagnosing and resolving IT hardware and software incidents, investigating network performance and faults, deploying patches and updates, ensuring high platform availability and ensuring compliance with internal IT security policies and industry standards.

You will work closely with colleagues in Denmark and Romania to deliver high availability and performance, and provide technical support for our users.

As part of the onboarding process, you will be required to attend a week-long meeting in Denmark to get acquainted with your new colleagues and responsibilities.

Once integrated into the team, you will work with us to optimize, administer and maintain our IT platform, diagnose and resolve IT incidents, investigate network performance and faults, deploy patches and updates, ensure high platform availability and ensure compliance with internal IT security policies and industry standards.

The Operations team is a part of an international, multi-disciplinary and distributed team. We use Scrum to manage and coordinate our daily tasks.

Apart from colleagues in the Operations team, you will be part of an internal IT department comprising skilled specialists in Infrastructure, IT support, Application and Development tools and IT security.

Locally, you will join an office with colleagues of various backgrounds, many of which work closely with our customers in the Defence domain.

As our new IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will have a relevant IT education at minimum bachelor's level such as Computer Science, Information technology or similar. Ideally you will have five or more years of experience in the IT industry, preferably within IT operations and preferably a few years of experience with hyperconverged infrastructures.

To work within our Defence business unit you must hold, or be able to obtain, and maintain a Defence NV1 security clearance.
