Credit Risk Associate Role

We are seeking a driven and analytical professional to join our Credit team as a Risk Assessment Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with key stakeholders to provide trusted advice on credit-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct periodic credit reviews on clients, analyzing financial statements and market trends.
  • Develop and enhance financial models, databases, and spreadsheets to support credit decisions.
  • Provide borrowing recommendations on new client requests, considering market conditions and creditworthiness.
  • Monitor the operating environment and make informed decisions to mitigate credit risk.
  • Establish and maintain client lending covenants, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Strong grasp of financial statements, ratios, and risk assessment techniques.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in research and reporting tools, including Power BI.
  • Tertiary qualifications in commerce, economics, business, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum three to five years' experience in a credit, financial analysis, advisory, or project finance-related role.
