Data Governance Program Specialist

The RoleAs a Senior Consultant, Data Governance, you will be responsible for enabling the successful delivery of our QUT data governance program. This includes supporting the development, implementation, management, and education of data governance policies, procedures, and processes. You will work closely with stakeholders from across the university, as well as the Compliance Team, Data & Analytics Team, Enterprise Architecture, Business Process Improvement, and relevant third parties to design and deliver the data governance program.
Key Responsibilities- Support the design and implementation of data governance policies, procedures, and processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the university to ensure effective data governance
- Work with the Compliance Team, Data & Analytics Team, Enterprise Architecture, Business Process Improvement, and relevant third parties to deliver the data governance program
- Educate stakeholders on data governance best practices and standards
- Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications in a related discipline and extensive relevant experience
- High-level interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge in data governance and process improvement techniques and toolsets, enterprise and data architecture
- Excellent writing skills and ability to create clear requirements, specifications, and documentation
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to implement effective solutions
