Job Description

This Data Governance Specialist position plays a critical role in ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across SAP and related asset management systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining master data governance, hygiene, quality reporting, and standards;
  • Implementing processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency;
  • Collaborating with IT and business units for system integration and harmonization;
  • Developing and delivering reports and insights to support business decisions;
  • Providing training and troubleshooting support for site users and SAP-related issues;
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance data management practices.

Key Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or trade qualification in a mining-related area;
  • At least 10 years of experience in SAP and ERP master data management, preferably in the mining industry;
  • Proficiency in SAP, ERP systems, and data management tools, with strong Excel skills;
  • Demonstrated experience in asset management, maintenance, or engineering roles within the mining industry.
