St Michael's Grammar School is seeking an experienced Marketing Communications Professional to join its dynamic team. As a key member of the Marketing and Communications Team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing marketing strategies that drive engagement and promote the school's brand.

The Role

We are seeking a talented Marketing Communications Professional to take on this exciting opportunity. You will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with the Director to implement and support the overall Marketing and Communications Strategy.
  • Capturing and assisting with photo and video shoots, including smartphone photography for social media.
  • Developing engaging content for the school's official social media channels, managing website updates, and producing blogs and other informational materials.
  • Supporting the Marketing and Communications Coordinator with the workflow for key publications such as yearbooks, magazines, and newsletters.
  • Helping to promote, organise and manage events such as Open Days, community gatherings, and school visits to generate engagement.
  • Working with preferred suppliers to obtain quotes, track project progress, and ensure timely delivery of marketing materials.
  • Assisting in creating advertisements and other promotional content as needed.
  • Providing marketing and communication advice and tactical support to other departments as required.
  • Actively participating in school life by attending key events and initiatives.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience in marketing communications, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong creative and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Current Employee Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Current National Police History Check (obtained within the last 6 months).
  • Current Driver's License – some local travel may be required from time to time.

Benefits

This is an ongoing full-time position offering a competitive salary package, including:

  • $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
