We are seeking a skilled Graduate Provisional Psychologist to join our team.
This role involves providing initial assessments, testing, and brief interventions for individuals with psychosocial and mental health barriers to employment.
- You will perform new employment vocational assessments, transferable skills analysis, and recovery support, as well as conduct initial assessments and case management for injured workers returning to employment.
- Assess and report on psychological functional capacities and complete psychological functional assessments.
- Conduct intelligence testing and report results.
- Assess the effects of mental health and medical conditions on work ability and make recommendations.
- Write detailed case notes and reports.
- Work with adult clients from diverse socioeconomic, educational, psychosocial, and nationality backgrounds.
- Provide Adjustment to Injury counselling and Vocational Counselling in-person and via phone to support client rehabilitation.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of allied health professionals.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A Master's degree in Psychology.
- Eligibility for Provisional Psychology registration with AHPRA upon graduating.
- Meet the 5+1 supervision eligibility criteria.
- Have graduated in the last 12 months or be graduating in 2025.
- Pass a national criminal check prior to commencing employment.
- Hold full Australian working rights.
- Hold a full driver's license, own vehicle, and comprehensive insurance.
- Demonstrate effective communication, attention to detail, and time management skills.
- Show enthusiasm, dedication, and a desire to collaborate and contribute fresh ideas.
- Be committed to making a positive impact on people's lives and developing business acumen.
