Support clients' return to work and life after injury as a Graduate Provisional Psychologist at APM, with dedicated professional development and a focus on diversity.
Your role
Responsibilities
Providing initial assessment, testing, and brief interventions for job seekers with psychosocial and mental health barriers to employment
Performing new employment vocational assessments, transferable skills analysis, and recovery support
Conducting initial assessments and case management for injured workers returning to employment
Assessing and reporting on psychological functional capacities and completing psychological functional assessments
Conducting intelligence testing and reporting
Assessing and making recommendations on the effects of mental health and medical conditions on work ability
Writing detailed case notes and reports
Working with adult clients from diverse socioeconomic, educational, psychosocial, and nationality backgrounds
Providing Adjustment to Injury counselling and Vocational Counselling in-person and via phone to support client rehabilitation
Collaborating with a team of dedicated allied health professionals
About you
Qualifications
Hold a Master's degree in Psychology
Be eligible for Provisional Psychology registration with AHPRA upon graduating
Be eligible for the 5+1 supervision
Have graduated in the last 12 months or be graduating in 2025
Pass a national criminal check prior to commencing employment
Have full Australian working rights
Hold a full driver's license, own vehicle, and comprehensive insurance
Demonstrate effective communication, attention to detail, and time management skills
Show enthusiasm, dedication, and a desire to collaborate and contribute fresh ideas
Be committed to making a positive impact on people's lives and developing business acumen
