Graduate Psychologist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Graduate Psychologist to join our team. As a Graduate Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting clients' return to work and life after injury.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct initial assessments, testing, and brief interventions for job seekers with psychosocial and mental health barriers to employment.
  • Perform new employment vocational assessments, transferable skills analysis, and recovery support.
  • Conduct initial assessments and case management for injured workers returning to employment.
  • Assess and report on psychological functional capacities and complete psychological functional assessments.
  • Conduct intelligence testing and reporting.
  • Assess and make recommendations on the effects of mental health and medical conditions on work ability.
  • Write detailed case notes and reports.
  • Work with adult clients from diverse socioeconomic, educational, psychosocial, and nationality backgrounds.
  • Provide Adjustment to Injury counselling and Vocational Counselling in-person and via phone to support client rehabilitation.
  • Collaborate with a team of dedicated allied health professionals.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Master's degree in Psychology.
  • Be eligible for Provisional Psychology registration with AHPRA upon graduating.
  • Be eligible for the 5+1 supervision.
  • Have graduated in the last 12 months or be graduating in 2025.
  • Pass a national criminal check prior to commencing employment.
  • Have full Australian working rights.
  • Hold a full driver's license, own vehicle, and comprehensive insurance.
  • Demonstrate effective communication, attention to detail, and time management skills.
  • Show enthusiasm, dedication, and a desire to collaborate and contribute fresh ideas.
  • Be committed to making a positive impact on people's lives and developing business acumen.
