About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Behavioural Specialist to join our Positive Behaviour Support team at ORS Group. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing clinical services to NDIS participants aged 0-65.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop Positive Behaviour Support plans to increase a person's quality of life, including improving skills and enhancing independence.
  • Work collaboratively with allied health practitioners, support workers, and family members to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
  • Conduct observations and assessments to identify challenging behaviours and develop strategies to reduce restrictive practices.
  • Develop and implement training programs to support clients and staff in achieving their goals.
Requirements
  • Qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, Behaviour Analysis, Teaching, Social Work, Social Sciences, Criminology, Childhood Education & Care, Health Science, or Nursing.
  • NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Practitioner or ability to become registered.
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and other complex diagnoses (desirable).
  • A car and licence.
  • A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or ability to obtain one before commencement.
