As a Clinical Specialist Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-level clinical support and assessment for residents, while also providing clinical leadership, support, and mentoring for Registered Nurses in the Aged Care Home.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-level clinical support and assessment for residents
- Provide clinical leadership, support, and mentoring for Registered Nurses
- Use clinical expertise, leadership, and clear communication skills to assist with the provision of high-quality clinical care
- Lead, inspire, and educate care professionals to promote continual improvement of clinical care in the Aged Care Home
- Registered Nurse with a minimum of five years of experience
- Clinical leadership in an Aged Care setting
- Demonstrated understanding and application of adult learning principles
- Understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare's Christian identity and values
- Willingness to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check or provide current NDIS Worker screening clearance
- Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards
- Postgraduate qualifications in a specialised clinical area (desirable)
