Home Care Specialist

We are seeking skilled professionals to join our home care team. As a Home Care Specialist, you will provide essential support to older people in their homes, helping them live independently and improving their quality of life.

About the Role

In this role, you will travel to clients' homes using your own vehicle for which you will be reimbursed for fuel costs. You will also receive paid travel time. Your tasks may include providing personal care, such as assisting with showering and dressing, helping around the home with meal preparation and light house cleaning, and providing transportation to appointments and assisting with shopping. Additionally, you may be required to assist with medication administration.

Requirements
  • You must be able to relate to people and be patient and solutions-focused.
  • Prior experience in aged or community care is desirable, but not necessary. We can provide training for the right candidate.
  • You must have a valid driver's license and access to an insured, reliable vehicle (minimum third-party property insurance).
  • A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support is highly regarded, but not essential. If you're not currently qualified, we can help you achieve certification.
