Home-Based Early Intervention Specialist
Make a meaningful impact for children aged 0-6 years with developmental delays and their families by providing early intervention services in a home-based setting.
The role involves fostering strong connections with families to support each child's unique journey. You will utilise the key-worker model, ensuring consistent and family-centred care. The work is short-term, sessions are community-based and occur across a 3-month span. You will be supporting a culturally diverse clientele and part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team of professionals.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Performing functional assessments for young children to determine appropriate supports
- Collaborating with families and trans-disciplinary teams to implement individualised intervention plans.
- Providing direct therapy services in both individual and group settings.
- Supporting families, educators and professionals in creating inclusive environments and staying updated on best practices.
We offer a range of benefits including professional development opportunities, salary packaging options, flexible work arrangements and a recognition and reward program.
Our organisation respects and promotes human rights and diversity. We are committed to building an inclusive culture where individuals from all backgrounds and identities are valued. We pride ourselves on being a client-safe and child-safe organisation, which is why all staff undergo comprehensive employment screening. To ensure you are best supported with your application, please let us know if you have any specific needs requiring reasonable adjustments.
