We are seeking a Carer to provide essential and practical care to help older people live independently in their homes.
The role requires travel to clients homes using your own car, for which you'll be paid $0.99 cents per km plus paid travel time.
About the role
- Provide personal care - helping with showering and dressing
- Help around the home - meal preparation and light house cleaning
- Provide transportation to appointments and assist with shopping
- Assist with medication
About you
- You can relate to people and you're patient and solutions-focused
- You may have previous experience in aged or community care or are looking to start your career in aged care
- You have a valid Drivers Licence and access to an insured, reliable car (min. Third Party Property Insurance)
- Ideally, you'll have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support
- You'll be flexible around meeting the changing needs of home care clients
