Product Manager Opportunity

At Westpac, we're seeking a skilled Product Manager to join our Strategy and Customer Proposition Team. In this role, you'll work closely with external service partners and internal stakeholders to develop life insurance products and drive innovation for retail and mortgage customers.

This position is responsible for the development and implementation of life insurance offers and initiatives, focusing on building processes, people, and system capabilities. You'll be a key contact point for project teams, multiple business areas, and external business partners.

  • Manage the end-to-end product and services lifecycle, including business case, channels, collateral, performance monitoring, and governance.
  • Identify and analyze problems/opportunities and workshop solutions with stakeholders and senior management.
  • Define, elicit, and document business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Create and re-engineer processes to maximize efficiency and meet customer and business needs.
  • Support and facilitate change management, testing, training, and implementation activities.
  • Project planning, scheduling, cost estimation, and status reporting.
  • Manage risk and compliance obligations.
