Job Title: Customer Deal Desk Manager

Oracle is a global technology leader, and as a Customer Deal Desk Manager, you will play a critical role in navigating the contracting process for our most strategic and complex deals. Your expertise in commercial and contractual matters will ensure that our customers receive the best possible outcome, while also driving business growth and revenue for Oracle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the virtual deal team for assigned deals, hosting regular cadence calls and project managing tasks to ensure successful closure.
  • Work proactively with Sales and functional stakeholders to develop realistic close plans, identifying key milestones, anticipating potential issues, and resolving them.
  • Provide advice to Sales on applicable Oracle policies and contract terms, ensuring that deals are structured to meet business objectives.
  • Articulate the rationale behind Oracle policy and contract terms to assist Sales with customer negotiations, while knowing when to defer to functional stakeholders.
  • Facilitate internal discussions amongst functional stakeholders to reach practical business solutions to complex contracting issues.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in drafting and negotiating fixed price and time and materials commercial, federal, state, and/or local government services contracts.
  • Prior experience in high tech industry, consulting, or professional services industry preferred.
  • BA/BS degree in Business; MA or Law degree or equivalent.
