About the Role
As a Site Reliability Engineer within our team, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering effective and sustainable solutions to challenges within our infrastructure.
- Utilizing your expertise in software development, systems engineering, and networking to proactively mitigate recurring issues.
- Collaborating with partner teams to enhance the reliability and performance of our infrastructure through improved system architecture.
- Fostering a culture that minimizes manual processes, resulting in a highly automated environment that supports scalable solutions.
Essential Qualifications
Please note: This position requires specific security clearance. Candidates must be willing to undergo the necessary adjudication process.
- Proficient understanding of Linux systems.
- Experience in coding, preferably in Python or JavaScript.
- Strong networking knowledge, including IP addressing and routing protocols.
- Familiarity with databases such as MySQL and Postgres, including performance tuning and high availability.
- Experience in monitoring systems, applications, and networks.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Willingness to work one weekend day in a four-day work week.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications would be advantageous:
- Experience in cloud architecture or web application development.
- A degree in a technical field, either bachelor's or master's.
