Primary Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Classroom Teacher to join our team and deliver high-quality teaching and learning for students from Years 1 to 6.

This role requires a teacher with a strong grasp of the Western Australian Curriculum, a commitment to evidence-based teaching and the ability to implement Quality Teaching Strategies grounded in current research.

The successful applicant will have:

  • A deep understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum across Years 1–6
  • Knowledge and practical application of the Quality Teaching Strategy to support high-impact learning
  • Evidence-based understanding of Cognitive Load Theory and how it informs student engagement, retention, and achievement

Bannister Creek Primary School is an Independent Public School situated in Lynwood. Our school caters for approximately 630 students from Kindergarten to Year 6 in a beautifully planned environment that focuses on providing sustainable opportunities.

Our proximity to the Bannister Creek allows us to embed an authentic Care for Country program. We have 24 classrooms including 6 purpose-built ECE rooms, as well as a contemporary library resource centre, specialist art, science and music rooms and a fully enclosed undercover area.
