Teach Design and Technology Subjects

Canning Vale College offers a comprehensive teaching position for a dedicated educator to deliver high-quality instruction in design and technology subjects to students from Years 7 to 12.

The Role

This full-time opportunity provides the chance to make a meaningful contribution to student learning and growth, as well as be part of a collaborative team environment that values continuous improvement.

The successful applicant will have access to cutting-edge and well-resourced workshops and laboratories, including a new Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) lab.

A specialist STEM Engineering stream is available for high-achieving students from Years 7 to 10.

The staff facilities are excellent, with each Learning Area fully equipped for maximum effectiveness.

Staff development opportunities are also available, allowing teachers to grow professionally and personally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and effective teaching programs in design and technology subjects.
  • Develop and implement curriculum programs tailored to meet student needs.
  • Monitor and provide feedback on student progress.
  • Contribute to the development of college teaching and learning programs.
Requirements
  • Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights.
  • Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before commencing.
  • Obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before commencing.
