About the Role

Cubic Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Architect to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex software and hardware systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical consultancy and input towards the architecture, design, and development of complex software and hardware systems.
  • Coordinate complete system solutions, evaluate RFP requirements, and provide input for project risk management activities.
  • Plan, schedule, and execute requirements analysis, system design, analyses and trade studies, hardware/software design oversight, requirements verification, system integration, and system-level test.
  • Apply systems engineering principles, processes, and skills to convert customer needs into total systems solutions.
  • Act as project lead if required on up to very large projects.
Requirements
  • Degree in system, software or electrical engineering, computer science, information systems or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 8 years of experience working in a software driven technology environment.
  • 8 years of experience working with engineering projects involving complex systems.
  • Formal Systems Engineering/Solution Architecture experience.
  • Experience at a team level in development or technology integration teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Post graduate study in Systems Engineering or related area.
  • Professional Systems Engineering certification such as INCOSE CSEP, Chartered Professional Engineer.
  • Project Management certification.
