Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and certified Pega Lead System Architect to provide thought leadership across projects for our diverse client base. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performing Pega applications, leading DCO sessions, and mentoring junior developers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in DCO sessions to understand requirements and guide LBA and client SMEs to capture requirements, process steps, and objectives.
  • Design high-level solution architectures that meet client needs and are world-class.
  • Collaborate with architects and leads to establish standards and guidelines.
  • Work in agile methodology and support iteration/project managers with stand-ups, burn-downs, retrospectives, and other activities.
  • Allocate and track specifications to other developers and review their deliverables.
  • Work with LBA and client SMEs to obtain sign-off on deliverables.
  • Conduct design workshops with interfacing applications and explain interfacing requirements.
  • Mentor and coach junior Pega developers in the team.
  • Participate in proposals and RFPs, providing inputs on solutions and estimates.
  • Highlight risks and assumptions identified during the project.
  • Work closely with automation/performance architects to cover end-to-end testing.
  • Ensure effective test governance across projects using both agile and waterfall methodologies.
  • Act as a single point of contact for interfacing applications.
Requirements
  • Experience in designing solutions using the latest version of Pega.
  • Experience participating in DCO sessions and leading teams.
  • Certified Pega Lead System Architect and skilled in the latest version.
  • Experience designing high-performing applications.
  • Experience in reference architecture, designing frameworks, and implementing design governance.
  • Understanding of Pega frameworks for different industries and hands-on experience with a few of them.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in analysis, design, development, and application deployment of large-scale Java-centric enterprise application systems.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in application development experience in Pega PRPC v6.x/v7.x/V8.x and Pega frameworks.
  • Good understanding of integration patterns and ability to recommend the best integration option based on requirements.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP web service/API integration.
  • Experience with JMS messaging integration.
  • Strong knowledge of mobile development frameworks.
  • Good understanding of infrastructure components involved in Pega projects.
  • Good understanding of data migration requirements, approach, design, and implementation.
  • Experience in all aspects of SDLC, Pega frameworks, and financial services KYC/CLM.
