Job Overview

Maintaining and repairing heavy engineering components requires a unique blend of physical stamina, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail. As a Skilled Trades Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced tradespeople to deliver high-quality results and meet customer expectations.

Main Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting tradespeople in the delivery of new and refurbished heavy engineering components
  • Moving materials and equipment around the shop, including crane lifts and rigging (if qualified)
  • General labour support, including maintenance and repair tasks
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • A commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
  • A Forklift HRW Licence
  • Dogging HRW Licence
  • The ability to work overtime as required
