Heavy Structural Fabrication and Welding Specialist

As a Heavy Structural Fabrication and Welding Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our engineering solutions. Your expertise in heavy structural fabrication and welding will enable us to deliver high-quality products and services to our clients.

Job Description:
  • Perform heavy structural fabrication and welding tasks, including repairs, maintenance, and project works;
  • Conduct preventative maintenance work schedules to ensure equipment is functioning optimally;
  • Ensure all work is carried out to company guidelines and standards;

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welding repairs and maintenance activities;
  • Shutdowns and project works;
  • Preventative maintenance work schedules;

Requirements:

  • Australian Recognized Trade Certificate;
  • Full drivers license;
  • Solid experience in a similar position - working in structural fabrication & welding;
  • White card;
  • Flexibility to work overtime hours and weekends as required;
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize workloads;
  • Team player to support other areas when required;

Desirable Skills:

  • TIG, MIG, and stick welding (preferred);
  • EWP;
  • Rigging;
  • Forklift;
  • Confined Space;
