We are seeking a skilled Client Director to join our team. This role will work alongside the Managing Director in a critical leadership position.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparation and review of financial statements and taxation returns
- Structuring for tax effectiveness and asset protection
- Tax consulting and business advisory
- Attending to complex income tax issues and prepare advice pieces where necessary
- Management of internal and client communications
- Developing and managing strong client relationships and own client base
- Leading and mentoring a team
- Assist with converting prospects/ leads into new clients
- Exposure to complex and high profile clients
- Utilise best practice suite of cloud based software and systems
- Minimum 8 years Australian public practice experience in Tax and Business Services
- Strongly align with our vision, mission and values
- CA or CPA qualified
- Exceptional communication, people skills and work ethic
- Experience working as a manager or director within business services
- Strong technical knowledge in tax and accounting principles
- Experience with complex structures including SMSF's
- Friendly, positive and personable, yet ambitious, motivated and driven
- Highest standard of ethics, confidentiality and professionalism
- Highly value long term, strong relationships
- Ability to communicate, report to and present to clients is essential
- You want to make a difference/ meaningful contribution in the lives of clients, the team in which you work, and the broader community
- Ability to contribute to and develop the firm's leadership team along with mentoring the accounting team on Tax Advisory and technical matters.
- Proficient in Xero, XPM and Excel
