
Business Systems Strategist

The role of the Business Systems Strategist is pivotal in leading the ongoing development of the Curriculum Management System. This system aims to automate and streamline UNE's course and unit approval processes, as well as student-facing information.
This position works in collaboration with various stakeholders and vendors to ensure the curriculum system's success and reports directly to the Manager, Student Systems. The Business Systems Strategist will also provide critical support for the Student Management System during peak business periods.
Additionally, this role may involve supervising staff members.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the ongoing system development of the Curriculum Management System
- Collaborate with UNE stakeholders and vendors to achieve the curriculum system's objectives
- Provide regular updates to the Manager, Student Systems
- Offer essential support for the Student Management System during high-demand periods
- Supervise staff as required
- Substantial experience in business and/or system process analysis, resulting in positive outcomes for stakeholders through business process improvement
- Independent problem-solving and analytical strategic thinking to inform decisions
- Outstanding interpersonal, consultative, and negotiating skills to achieve effective process outcomes
- Ability to interpret business requirements and develop reports that support stakeholders
- Capacity to analyze complex issues across multiple systems
