Project Accounting Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Accountant to join our team and contribute to the success of our infrastructure projects across Australia.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial systems, ensuring accurate project reforecasts, and overseeing accounts payable functions.
  • This is an exciting opportunity to work on major infrastructure projects and collaborate with key stakeholders, including funding bodies, contractors, Council partners, and government agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of corporate financial systems, including preparation, review, analysis, and reporting monthly project reforecasts.
  • Overseeing the accounts payable function, ensuring timely payment to suppliers and contractors.

Requirements:

  • Relevant professional tertiary qualifications in Business, Accounting, Finance or Information Technology.
  • Demonstrated ability in maintenance of corporate financial systems, including knowledge of key financial functions and processes.
