Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Financial Accountant to lead the finance function supporting a portfolio of 200+ leases and significant property operations. This role will be responsible for overseeing all accounting and financial reporting, preparing weekly, monthly, and annual accounts, forecasts, budgets, and management reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all accounting and financial reporting for the property portfolio.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual accounts, forecasts, budgets, and management reports.
  • Lead AP/AR and guide a small finance support team.
  • Manage cash flow, GL, tax compliance, and external audit relationships.
  • Partner with property, leasing, and facilities teams to ensure accurate tenant receivables, incentives, and outgoings recovery.
  • Drive system integrity with Yardi and other finance platforms, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • CPA/CA qualified with solid commercial accounting experience.
  • Skilled in property/real estate accounting with deep knowledge of property ownership structures and statutory compliance.
  • Yardi experience is essential – you will be the subject-matter expert internally.
  • Confident in Excel and reporting systems, with sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative, hands-on, and outcome-focused, with excellent communication skills.
