Job Title: Community Engagement Officer

About the Role

  • Develop comprehensive marketing plans to enhance community information and engagement needs
  • Create engaging content for various audiences, including media releases, letters, and marketing materials
  • Coordinate events, workshops, and community consultation activities to promote dialogue and understanding
  • Provide tailored support to project teams to improve their communication with residents

To succeed in this role, you will require:

Key Skills and Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar engagement role, preferably in government, with strong communication and customer service skills

Tech savvy and effective time management abilities are also essential

Relevant qualifications in marketing, media, and communications or equivalent experience are highly valued

Vaccination against Covid-19 is required, and a police/background check may also be necessary
