Senior Corporate Advisor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Corporate Advisor to join our INPEX Corporate team in Darwin, Northern Territory. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in maximizing the effectiveness of external stakeholder engagement and representing INPEX in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective stakeholder engagement strategies to build strong relationships with government agencies, Aboriginal communities, and other key stakeholders.
  • Represent INPEX in Darwin and the broader Northern Territory, providing expert advice and guidance on corporate affairs and stakeholder engagement.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, strategic plans, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Liaise regularly with government stakeholders and departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor and provide feedback to internal decision-makers on approval conditions, INPEX commitments, and approval requirements of applicable legislation and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working in oil and gas, major projects, resources, and/or government.
  • Strong understanding of working with Northern Territory and Australian Government agencies and their processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with a results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in complex and dynamic environments.
  • Strong political acumen and understanding of community needs in Australia and the Northern Territory.
