As a NODAC On-Call Support Officer, you will provide after-hours on-call support for our award-winning emotional and holistic support program for residents approaching end-of-life. This role involves coordinating vigil rosters, scheduling volunteers, and liaising with staff and volunteers.

The successful candidate will work from home on Fridays, weekends, and public holidays, working flexible on-call shifts from 08:00 to 16:00. Key responsibilities include on-call coordination, partnering with stakeholders, liaising with service managers and clinical teams, and coordinating volunteer scheduling.

To be considered for this position, you must have advanced-level communication and interpersonal skills, experience in an administrative role with rostering/scheduling tasks desirable, excellent attention to detail, and intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

Additionally, you should possess a sound understanding of palliative care, demonstrated ability to work independently, and be reliable, punctual, and committed to adhering to the roster. Essential criteria include COVID-19 and current flu vaccinations, a National Police Clearance, and successful completion of pre-employment forms and reference checks.

We offer a casual basis with weekend and public holiday work, flexibility to work from home, and an estimated salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on experience and location.
