
Senior Regional Business Development Manager

Job Opportunity:
Lead the sales efforts in the ANZ region as a Regional Sales Director. This key position is responsible for defining and executing the IP and Optical sales and go-to-market strategy.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of sales experience in the telecommunications industry, with a strong focus on Tier 2 Service Provider Accounts, Channels, and Enterprise verticals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining and executing the IP and Optical sales and go-to-market strategy
- Recruiting and training new channel partners
- Identifying top direct and indirect sales opportunities
- Maintaining Salesforce and submitting regular reports to management
The successful candidate will be a consultative and solution-selling professional with excellent business acumen and technical skills.
Requirements
- 10+ years of sales experience in the telecommunications industry
- Established customer relationships and proven ability to build new trusted relationships
- Demonstrated record of accomplishment of exceeding sales targets
- Ability to work remotely and independently
- Consultative and solution-selling techniques, excellent business acumen, and technically astute
Preferred Qualifications
- Business, Engineering, or related degree
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
